I am so pleased with your device that I believe that it is my humanitarian duty to recommend it, to the advantage of those who are unaware that there is a “possibility” of obtaining relief from pain. A famous professor once told me that: “The world’s population can be divided into two: those who suffer from back pain and those that will suffer from back pain”. There are those people who are diligent and disciplined (like my husband) and who exercise every day (in my husband’s case, for 17 years).   Most people are unable to stick to such a regime and Backlife does the work for them, and more important provides the service. Twice a day I lie on the floor on a thin mattress with my head on a pillow and think pleasant and happy thoughts while the machine works, and I feel great. I have been bedridden for approximately three years due to increasing back pain.   I am aged 36.5 and have 60% disability.  My problem is severe, 40÷, curvature of the spine since birth.   Two days after receiving your appliance I was able to sit on a chair for as long as one hour, something I have not been able to do for almost three years – after about a quarter of an hour I would fall from the chair and lay on the floor as a result of my back having seized up. I have experienced a miracle.  I had thought that the rest of my life would be spent in bed.  What good luck it was that I saw you and your pilot father on the Friday evening Channel 2 news program approximately two months ago. I believe that possibly next week I shall be able to start work again.   Not full time, only part time, however this is much more than I have been able to do over the past three years. I still suffer pain in my upper back since the curvature affects its entire length.  My lower back is no longer seized up and the paralysis in my legs has disappeared.  My ability to exercise and to strengthen the muscles of my upper back has much increased and now only time will tell. It is worth noting that my orthopedic surgeon believed that my pain was not associated with the curvature but that its source was psychological.  I now see that her claim was totally incorrect since had she been right your appliance would not have helped me. I am not acquainted with people who suffer from back problems but should I meet any I shall recommend your effective appliance, since morphine, epidural injections and anti-depressants which are prescribed in pain clinics are toxins which may not provide a solution and which may even kill.   If an alternative for the relief of lower back pain such as yours can be offered, this is surely preferable. Should the Health Funds discover in time that this device is more effective than chiropractic therapy they may well recommend their patients to purchase it via the Health Fund at a discount. After consulting with Dr Mirovsky, who diagnosed that my three lower discs are projecting, he recommended that I purchase the device. After two weeks I have gained the impression that in the long term it will prove effective.  At present I am too heavy (89kg) and although I have no trouble walking, climbing stairs is problematic. Dear Sir I spoke with your customer service representative on 2.5.03 who asked me to write to you about my experience with the device. I am 44 years old.  I have been suffering from severe pain in my lower back and pelvic area for several years, pain that has been continuously increasing.   Various therapies (physiotherapy, acupuncture, reiki, shiatsu, tuina etc) only gave me slight respite from the pain and my quality of life continued to decline.   Every afternoon I would return home from work suffering from terrible pain (especially in the area of vertebra L3) and fearing that should I make one bad move my back would seize up.  I would spend the rest of the evening on the sofa attempting various stretching movements and exercises in an effort to ease the pain.   Occasionally with success, but recently with almost none. I had problems bending, straightening up, dressing, showering, cleaning the house and in many other tasks. I found myself more and more frequently taking anti-inflammatory medication for the pain.  I even had to get rid of my new lounge suite since it was too low and I had trouble rising from it because of my pain.  About two and a half weeks ago, after work, I took a few steps in my home and felt a strong stab of pain, so severe that I fell down on all fours.   Several long minutes of suffering passed until I was able to stand on my feet.  Several days later I returned home at 22:00hrs in severe pain.   I lay down on my bed and after a few minutes discovered that I was unable to change my position or even move an inch.  Every movement caused a severe stab of pain in the region of vertebra L3.   Only after four and a half hours, at 02:30hrs, did my back calm down a little and I was able to change my position and sleep for a few hours.  I ordered the Backlife device which I received on 1.5.03.  After several hours of use I discovered to my great pleasure that the pain had considerably reduced.   After a few more sessions I discovered that my body was “celebrating” – the pain had almost completely disappeared (for the first time in several months), my range of motion had greatly increased and I was suddenly able to perform movements that I had been afraid that I would never be able to make again.   The back and pelvic pain that I had become accustomed to suffering at the end of each day had become considerably more moderate and occasionally even totally disappeared for days.  Life has begun to look up.  As a person who had become accustomed, unwillingly, to live with severe pain around the clock, to “think twice” about every movement involving the back or pelvic area and to fear making too many moves, the change has been dramatic and my quality of life has improved immensely.   Several days after purchasing the appliance I began to talk about your wonder machine and to recommend it heartily to my family, friends, acquaintances and the physiotherapy clinic on my kibbutz.   My father also tested the appliance and returned to me the next day, smiling, for another session, claiming that his back pains had greatly reduced.  I would like to thank you personally for your marvelous invention and hope that my letter reaches you.  With thanks and warm wishes  Talia Gluska
